Cory Green
Challenger Cory Green is running as a Republican for Utah State Senate District 29 in St. George, Utah. The election was held on November 5, 2024.
My name is Cory Green and I am running to be your next Utah State Senator in Utah State Senate District 29, here in Washington County, Utah. I am married with four children and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am a Constitutional conservative who shares the love of the textual U.S. Constitution and shares the values of my friend U.S. Senator Mike Lee of Utah. I volunteered on Senator Lee's campaign team in 2010, 2016, 2022. Cory was also the Davis County, Utah - Chair for U.S. Senator Ted Cruz's 2016 Presidential campaign. When Senator Cruz ended his campaign for President, I joined he and Senator Lee in supporting President Donald J. Trump in 2016, 2020 and I will again support President Trump in 2022.
I have a bachelors degree with a double major in criminal justice and sociology from Weber State University and an associates degree from Southern Utah University. I served in the United States Army for 8 years and served as a police officer in the U.S. Navy Reserves for 4.5 years and I have successfully owned and operated three armed contract security companies along the Wasatch Front over the last two decades and sold them out. I am a security expert prepared to make a plan to keep school children in Utah safe from active shooters and would sponsor a bill to do just that. My Uncle Steven Green was unfortunately murdered by an illegal alien in Layton, Utah back in February 2000, while his little brother (who also happens to be my father) was serving as a Bountiful Police Sergeant, in Bountiful Utah and while I was serving as an U.S. Army Reservist. My family has been victimized by Democrats committing treason at the Southern Border! No Utah family should ever have to go through this nonsense, no American should. I would sponsor a bill in Utah in 2025 to make it a State 2nd degree felony if any illegal alien with no green-card or visa is caught inside of Utah's borders. If Democrats refuse to uphold the Constitutions article 4 section 4, then by default of the 10th amendment the States can and will.
I ask the people here in my District to please elect me to office and I ask my fellow County Delegates to please help me get through the convention process here on March 23, 2024 with 70% plus more of the vote so I can get on the primary ballot. I am not a career politician like the incumbent Sen. Don Ipson or like my other Republican challenger Chad Bennion. I am the right man to challenge the RINO establishment and to challenge the woke Democrats and the fake Utah News Media and to challenge our woke Governor Spencer J. Cox if I am elected as your next Utah State Senator here in State Senate District 29.
I believe in the second amendment and support all of our textual Constitutional rights and I am prolife and don't play the pronoun games or the other woke LGBTQ / Trans nonsense that Barrack Obama stoked while in the White House. I believe boys have no business in girls sports and I stand for religious rights and parents rights to choose. I support cutting taxes and upholding individual and business owners core Constitutional rights to Life, Liberty, Prosperity and Happiness! I will not cater to DOPL and will not support more business getting over regulated by this or other Administrative State Agencies who are out of control, accountable to no one and who are also unelected officials. Please support me! If you all want to put a good man like U.S. Senator Mike Lee into the Utah Legislature in the State Senate than vote for me. I will always stand up for people in my District and will hold regular townhalls in my district which the incumbent refuses to do!
