I am proud to announce my candidacy for the Waukesha County Board Supervisor. My life has been defined by a simple principle: service before self. From my time in the United States Navy to the last 25 years as a local business owner, I have learned that real leadership requires showing up, listening, and being held accountable for every dollar spent.
New Berlin isn’t just where my office is located—it’s where my wife, Amy, and our daughter, Finleigh, call home. Whether we are at Hales Corners Lutheran Church or out with our three Siberian Huskies, we are fully invested in this community. I want exactly what you want: top-tier schools, a thriving economy, accessible healthcare, and safe neighborhoods.
Why I’m Running: Transparency & Accountability
Local government works best when it is open to the people. Too often, proposals slip through the City Council or County Board without the public’s knowledge. That ends with me.
Your Money, Your Voice: You deserve to know exactly how your tax dollars are being spent and why costs are rising. I will prioritize public information so you can participate in the decisions that affect your wallet.
Fighting for Our Fair Share: Waukesha County sends $1.7 billion to Madison but receives only $72 million back. After consulting with New Berlin City Council members and State Representatives, I know we can secure more resources—but we have to be proactive. We can’t just take what Madison gives us; we have to go out and get what we deserve.
Action Over "Yes" Votes: My opponent, Joel Gaughan, voted YES on the latest tax increase and has a history of rubber-stamping proposals. I believe a Supervisor’s job is more than just showing up to vote twice a month—it’s about seeking out solutions before the gavel falls.
A "Throwback" Approach to Communication
In an age of impersonal texts and social media echo chambers, I still believe in the power of a handshake. Business and politics are built on results and relationships, not just blind transactions. I will be a "boots on the ground" representative—meeting with local business owners and neighbors in person to find out what you need to prosper.
As a business owner, I am held fiscally accountable every single day. I believe our elected officials should be held to that same standard. I live, work, and play in District 21, and I am ready to bring that level of accountability to the Waukesha County Board.
