Dean Peranteaux
Incumbent Dean Peranteaux is running as a Republican for Ward 1, Riverton City Council in Riverton, Wyoming. The election was held on November 5, 2024.
I moved to Fremont County more than 30 years ago, after serving a tour of duty in the United States Air Force. I met and married my wife Stacey and have been a proud resident of Riverton ever since. Together we own and operate several local, technology-based businesses and have a grown son, Rylan. In my free time you can find me enjoying the wild beauty of Wyoming by air (I am an avid pilot), by motorcycle or on skis.
Over the years I’ve been honored to serve on a number of boards, including 8 years on the Fremont County School District #25 Board. I was the board chairman of the Northwest BOCES Children's Center for 7 years. I’ve served the FCSD#25 Recreation Board for the last 15 years. I've also served as an active member of the Riverton Airport Board for more than 15 years.
I believe in the power of volunteerism and have witnessed the incredible strength of this community rallying behind important projects–and getting them done. Community service has always been an important part of my life and I look forward to serving the people of Riverton as a member of the City Council.
