Challenger Justin Weil is running as a Democratic for State House of Representatives District 4 in Decatur, Alabama, United States, Alabama. Election day is November 3, 2026.
Justin is an Alabama native, born and raised in Huntsville. He attended Farley Elementary, Challenger Middle, and Grissom High School. With a strong commitment to accessibility, accountability, and community-driven leadership, he is running for Alabama House District 4 to bring practical solutions that strengthen both our community and our state.
Justin is a full-time workforce developer and a part-time college student at Calhoun Community College, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning. Over the past year, he has regularly attended city council meetings, advocating for impactful improvements in the city of Decatur. His background as a patient representative has given him insight into the challenges many families face with healthcare affordability and access to quality medical treatment. Additionally, his experiance and a manufacturing production technician has given him insight into the value of manufacturing and the impact a strong manufacturing sector can have on a community. Furthermore, his experience in workforce development provides him with a deep understanding of the educational needs of both working adults and soon to be graduates from our public schools.
Beyond his professional life, Justin is an uncle to two nephews and one niece. He also maintains his own vegetable garden and advocates for knowing where food comes from and what’s in it. He believes that leadership begins with listening, standing up for everyone, and delivering results that benefit the entire community.
