Challenger Bryan Scholz is running as a Republican for Senate in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The election was held on May 21, 2024.
Entrepreneur, businessman, techie. Proud father and husband. Left coast political refugee. Someone who's happy to have made Idaho and Idaho Falls home after having lived and worked in different regions in the US and a great deal abroad.
Working extensively in the tech scene in the US and Europe has given me a firm ability to understand emerging technologies. It has also given me broad perspectives on how other states and other countries do things differently. Western Europe and the West Coast of America were some of the freest and most innovative places when I was a kid. I've watched firsthand as that slowly changed.
Idaho Falls currently has a Senator who has left a lot of people disappointed by a terrible conservative lifetime voting record of 48.8% with the Idaho Freedom Foundation and 45.65% with the Institute for Legislative Analysis. What a disaster.
Voters need someone who will stand up for them and not just the special interests. Someone who will vote for a reduced government footprint and protecting people's Constitutional rights. I will do that.
Don't let Idaho turn into another California or Oregon.
