Craig Yadon
Craig Yadon is running for Commissioner in Pocatello, Id, Idaho, an open seat. The election was held on May 19, 2026.
Craig is a long-time, local businessmen. He graduated from both Highland High School and Idaho State University. After serving in the U.S. Army for four years he returned to Pocatello with his new wife to start a family. 32 years later he and his wife Mariya have four adult children and three grandchildren with another on the way.
Craig owned and operated a local contracting firm servicing industrial facilities nationwide. The company grew by leaps and bounds all the while enduring the challenging times of 9/11/2001, the financial crisis of 2008 and most recently the COVID lock downs. As a union contractor, the company provided services to government agencies, oil refineries, power plants and other manufacturing facilities. Managing a workforce of over 200, Craig became adept at working with people and earning their trust in a competitive industry.
In recent years Craig and his family have invested in Historic Downtown Pocatello renovating one its gems, Petersen's Furniture Building. The renovated building now is home to the Purpose Center, hosting memorable events such as weddings, business meetings and company gatherings.

Eliminate wasteful spending and return tax dollars to the citizens
Maintain our county assets so they can be utilized for generations to come
Protect our beautiful environment and natural resources
