Mason Lee
Challenger Mason Lee is running for City Council in Junction City, Kentucky. Election day is November 3, 2026.
Mason Lee is a dedicated and highly accomplished healthcare professional and student with a strong foundation in patient care, clinical skills, and community service. He holds multiple healthcare credentials, including State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) through the Kentucky Board of Nursing, Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) through the Indiana Department of Health, and Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) through the National Healthcareer Association. In addition, he maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
His educational background reflects both academic excellence and a commitment to the healthcare field. A graduate of Boyle County High School in Danville, Kentucky, he earned his diploma while actively engaged in leadership and service organizations. He furthered his clinical training at Bluegrass Community and Technical College, earning a Medicaid Nurse Aide certificate, and is currently enrolled at the University of Louisville, continuing his academic and professional development in healthcare.
Leadership and involvement have been central throughout his academic career. In high school, he served as the secretary of the Kentucky High school Republicans, as the Vice-President of Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), and coordinated blood drives as a National Honor Society leader. He currently serves as the secretary for the University of Louisville College Republicans, and as the Vice-Chairman for the University of Louisville Young Americans for Liberty. He is also an active member of Beta Beta Beta and Phi Delta Epsilon
Professionally, he is employed as a Certified Resident Care Associate at Walkers Trail Senior Living and as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Westminster Village, where he provides compassionate, hands-on care to residents and continues building real-world clinical experience.
His achievements have been widely recognized. Honors include the President’s Volunteer Service Award (Silver), two-time National Honor Society Ambassador Award recipient, 1st place in the Community Problem Solvers competition, 2nd Place in the HOSA State Phlebotomy Competition, and 3rd Place in the HOSA State Biology Exam. He has also earned the College Board National Rural and Small-Town Award, the College Board National First-Generation Award, and the Boyle County High School Allied Health Department Outstanding Student Award.
