Debra P. Hicks, PE/LSI, is a fourth generation Lea County New Mexican and the President, CEO and owner of Pettigrew & Associates, an engineering firm founded by her father in 1965. A licensed Professional Engineer since 1989, she has spent her 40+ year career improving communities not only through her professional career, but through her dedication as a servant leader committed to improving the lives of New Mexicans.
The three "E's" are the foundation of her campaign and her commitment to New Mexico - Education, Economy and Endurance. Debra knows New Mexico can be successful, keep its residents from leaving and improve our state's economy if we work together, across party lines, toward a sustainable New Mexico that includes oil and gas, tax reform that attracts business development, and education reform that actually works in the classroom.
