Christopher J. Lansing

Challenger Christopher J. Lansing is running for NYS Assembly - 107th District in Glenmont, New York. The election was held on June 23, 2026.

Hello, my name is Christopher J. Lansing, and I am running for New York State’s 107th Assembly District. I am a native born and raised in the Capital District. I graduated from Bethlehem Central High School in 2010, go Eagles! I continued my education at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Africana Studies. (Go Statesmen!) I come from a long line of family members who have contributed to the growth of our community. We have participated in everything from representing New York State at the Constitutional Convention to placing Nipper above the Albany skyline to building the Nelson A. Rockefeller Empire State Plaza. I grew up watching my family participate in the electoral and political process and learned about our democracy. I have seen many wonderful accomplishments that can be derived from effective political party leaders, and I want to contribute to our continued success. In pursuit of making a positive impact, I have had the benefit of working on campaigns at the federal, state, and local levels, organizing labor unions across New York State, and coaching youth sports. Through these opportunities, I have come to better understand the needs of our community. I will focus on alleviating the financial pressures facing our community, protecting against any incursion on our form of government, safeguarding our civil rights and liberties, and protecting against any threat to our national resources. I promise to fight for democracy and work tirelessly to provide opportunities that are inclusive of all people. I aim to promote the ideals upon which our nation’s liberties were founded. I look at it as an obligation and a privilege to give back to the community that has given so much to my family and me. I hope to earn your trust, inspire hope, and effectively lead the 107th Assembly District.
