Forrest Miller
Challenger Forrest Miller is running as a Democratic for Virginia House Delegate - District 63 in Spotsylvania, Virginia. The election was held on November 4, 2025.
Born and raised in Montgomery, AL, I enlisted in the US Army in 2000 and attended basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia. In May 2009, I graduated from the Warrant Officer Candidate Course and later retired in 2021 as a Chief Warrant Officer 3. A few of my assignments included tours as the Trip Site Lead, White House Communications Agency (WHCA); Commander’s Communication Team Director, US Northern Command/NORAD, Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Network Operations (NETOPS) OIC, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC. I served two combat tours with one being in Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) and one in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), where I was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.
As recently as last year, I would have told you that I was a moderate Republican; however, today that is no longer the case. I just could not follow where that party was going any longer. In my military career, I learned how important values such as honor, respect, integrity, and selfless-service are. I believe that these are fundamental character traits that make us Americans and are hard to find in today’s Republican leadership.
I am seeking to become the Democratic Delegate for the Virginia House District 63 due to my unwavering support for the Virginia and US Constitution. In today’s political environment it is critical now more than ever that we remember that “all people are created equal” and each one of them is entitled to “certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
