Layne is a life-long resident of Bullitt County. He and his wife Laurie, a retired first grade teacher, live in Twelve Oaks. They have been married for 51 years and have three children, Jessica (Justin), Patrick (Andrea) and Linzie (Crystal) and eight grandchildren.
Layne and Laurie are members of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington where Layne serves as trustee.Currently serving as your council member for the City of Mt. Washington, 4 years
