Dr. Jim DuLaney, Jr. is a devoted public servant and community leader on the Shakopee City Council. A resident of Shakopee since 2003, DuLaney has consistently championed responsible growth and development, working to balance progress with quality of life.
A military veteran, DuLaney brings more than 24 years of experience in the private tech sector. His engineering expertise and passion for education have led him to serve as an adjunct professor at four colleges, where he shares his knowledge with the next generation of engineers.
Beyond his professional work, DuLaney is deeply committed to community service. He volunteers with the State Science Fair, Career Days, and STEM programs, and serves on the Sunday morning live broadcast team at The Father’s House Church, staying actively connected to the community he serves.
