Hello Brea, my name is Andrew Herrera or, as some of you may know me, the Enjoy Brea guy.
This is my second time running for City Council. My first campaign was a great learning experience, and I had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people. One piece of feedback I received was that I didn't know enough about the city. Another was that, while my platform focused on supporting small businesses, people wanted to know how I planned to do that.
Currently, I serve as vice president of the Brea Historical Society, where I have the opportunity to learn about our city's history from day one. Every day, I learn something new that makes me love Brea even more. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and for the past four years, I have spent my free time getting to know Brea business owners and sharing their services and stories with tens of thousands of people through my various volunteer platforms.
As a council member, my approach would be to gather input from the community before making decisions that affect us all. I want everyone to feel comfortable coming to me, knowing that I will listen.
