Burton Brink

Challenger Burton Brink is running for City Council, Arcadia District 2 in Arcadia, California. Election day is November 3, 2026.

Burton Brink is a retired Sergeant with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and a proud Arcadia resident since 1967. He is currently running for Arcadia City Council – District 2.

Burton served 8 years as an Arcadia City Commissioner, 4 years as the Chairman and termed out in 2025, is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Crime Survivors, Inc. (since 2023) and remains a dedicated community leader.

With nearly 40 years of law enforcement experience, Burton has spent his career protecting our homes, neighborhoods, and businesses. He is deeply concerned about public safety, including residential burglaries, organized retail theft, and quality-of-life issues facing Arcadia families.

As the father of an Asian son, Burton is particularly committed to addressing crimes targeting Asian businesses and families.

As a conservative, Burton believes in limited government, fiscal responsibility, and putting residents first. He will fight against overbearing Sacramento politicians who don’t understand our community — including laws like SB 330 and other state mandates that override local control, harm property values, burden businesses, and make it harder for families and schools to thrive in Arcadia.

Burton will strongly advocate for local control over local issues — not Sacramento telling Arcadia how to grow, what to build, or how to manage our city.

As a longtime resident Burton is dedicated to preserving the character of our diverse neighborhoods and maintaining the high quality of life that makes District 2 and Arcadia special.

Burton’s Priorities:

Put Public Safety First

Restore Trust, Transparency, and Accountability at City Hall

Practice Fiscal Responsibility and protect taxpayer dollars

Preserve Property Values and support local businesses

Protect Local Control and Arcadia’s Quality of Life

“I pledge to listen to residents, work collaboratively with City staff and the Police Department, and always put Arcadia families first. I will fight Sacramento’s overreach, protect our property values, support our businesses, and deliver common-sense conservative leadership on the City Council.”

I’d be honored to represent you on the Arcadia City Council – District 2.
