Frank Talavera

I am Francisco "Frank" Talavera, a Lawndale City Councilmember and a lifelong resident of Lawndale. This city has been my home throughout my life, and its future is personal to me. My Lawndale roots run deep. I attended Jane Addams School, Lawndale High School, El Camino College, and Cal State Dominguez Hills. I worked for Lawndale Elementary School and Centinela Valley Union High School Districts. In 2005, I was elected as a school board member for Centinela Valley UHSD and began my teaching career with LAUSD. I retired after 36 years in education. I want residents to know that they can approach me, receive an honest answer, and be treated respectfully.
