Ramon Gomez

Challenger Ramon Gomez is running for Supervisor in Prunedale, California. The election was held on June 2, 2026.

I’m running for Monterey County Supervisor to keep our neighborhoods safe, fix our roads, strengthen flood protection, and ensure county government delivers real results.

My service includes school site councils and coaching youth sports while supporting activities that strengthen our neighborhoods.

As Fire Director of the North County Fire Protection District, I helped restore firefighter staffing, secure new fire engines, and upgrade protective equipment to strengthen emergency response.

As Chief of Staff to a County Supervisor, I help residents resolve problems, review budgets, and draft policies that meet community needs, including a strong local battery energy storage safety ordinance requiring enforceable air, water, and soil testing to protect our communities.

Before and after the devastating Pajaro floods, I worked with residents during response and recovery and helped secure over $700,000,000 for levee improvements.
As your Supervisor, I will prioritize public safety, fixing roads, housing, addressing flooding, and passing strong rules to protect us from battery fires.

I was raised in North Monterey County and Watsonville, attended local schools, and earned degrees in Economics and History from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Today, my wife Juana and I are raising our children in Prunedale. Like you, we want safe streets, strong schools, and opportunities for every generation to thrive.

I respectfully ask for your vote.
