Lee Shane
Challenger Lee Shane is running for County Commissoner in Greeneville, Tennessee. The election was held on May 5, 2026.
Lee brings proven leadership, disciplined management, and conservative values rooted in service. Raised in Middle Tennessee, he earned a Business Administration degree from Northwestern University and went on to serve as a firefighter in the United States Air Force during Operation Desert Storm. He later continued his military service in the Air National Guard and served as Cadet Commander for the Civil Air Patrol, mentoring youth and developing future leaders.
As a Project Manager registered with the Project Management Institute, Lee helped oversee a multi-million-dollar turbine retrofit at D. C. Cook Nuclear Plant, with responsibilities that included budget oversight, safety compliance, and operational accountability—experience directly relevant to responsible stewardship of public resources.
Lee and his wife Deb live a faith-guided, service-oriented life centered on family, community, and practical leadership. They attend The Avenue Church and actively support local outreach efforts.
