I have been a proud resident of Huntington Beach for seven years and am also a small business owner and openly gay candidate. My journey to Huntington Beach began with a vacation that sparked my desire to live and contribute to the community. Although I wasn’t born here, my love for this beautiful city, with its parks, beach, and vibrant small businesses, runs deep.
As a candidate for the Huntington Beach City Council, I believe our city deserves a leadership that moves us forward, not backward. The current council has fostered division through controversial decisions—banning pride flags, attacking our beloved library, and erecting divisive symbols that only serve to isolate and marginalize. Our community is at a crossroads, facing major lawsuits and an image tarnished by negative press. It's time for a change.
I stand ready to transform the challenges we face into opportunities for growth and unity. My mission is to bring back transparency, foster collaboration, and find solutions that work for everyone. We need leadership that listens, not one that divides. I will advocate for policies that ensure every voice is heard, every perspective is valued, and every resident feels safe and welcome in our community.
